We intend to initiate community-based initiatives to tackle specific challenges in the ghettos, such as environmental sustainability and employment generation.
About Ghetto Impact Awards
The Ghetto Impact Awards is a pioneering recognition program that celebrates the remarkable achievements of individuals within Uganda’s ghettos and informal sectors.
This initiative is spearheaded by the Minister of ICT and National Guidance and implemented in partnership with HiPipo and partners.
Its primary objective is to highlight the transformative power of skill development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in uplifting communities from poverty and driving national growth.
The Ghetto Impact Awards initiative is a commendable effort to acknowledge those who have made a noteworthy contribution to society despite their challenges.
